PoorBest

This year saw a strong sale at the NSA and we were very pleased with the pen of shearlings.  The trade on both pens, one close to the start and the other at the end in ring 14, saw 100% clearance with a top price of 4600 gns and an average of £824 for 35 rams.

Topping the trade was a ram we bought at the NSA as a ram lamb, Cae Waen Priest by Jonsland Osian,  he was through very close to the end of the sale at the start of our second run.  Priest was the second highest price of the day at 4600 gns having grown into a massive shearling with good muscling, plenty of length and a tight skin.

Tynewydd Pearce by Haddo Lucky Strike out of a Lyonshall Irish bred ewe sold for 1,120 gns to Richard Joseph, Boughrood.  Tynewydd Pastel by Haddo None Better out of a Haddo Lucky Strike dam sold for 1000 gns to John Kinsey, Builth Wells.  Also at 1000 gns was Tynewydd Palamedes, again by Haddo Lucky Strike out of a Lyonshall Irish ewe.

We were also really pleased to purchase a ram lamb, Blaencar Rocky, from Jeff Morgan who'll be used across some of our yearling ewes.

A huge thank you to all of our customers.
